ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): President of the G-8 Markaz Traders Association, Ajab Khan, stated that Pakistan’s mediation in the Middle East tensions has elevated the country’s status on the global stage. He said that through successful efforts toward a ceasefire, Pakistan has gained significant diplomatic attention. If Pakistan succeeds in ensuring a lasting ceasefire, it could bring extraordinary positive economic impacts for the country.
He added that this remarkable success has enhanced Pakistan’s global importance, which may lead to an increase in foreign investment. Stability in the region could further expand the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), as peace promotes investment. He emphasized that Pakistan should capitalize on the current situation by focusing on economic reforms, policy stability, and improved security.
