WNAM REPORT: An investment conference was held in Islamabad to mark the beginning of a new era of economic cooperation between Pakistan and Azerbaijan. Addressing the conference, Azerbaijan’s Ambassador Khazar Farhadov said that the relationship between Pakistan and Azerbaijan is not merely formal, but is built on shared faith, everlasting friendship, and a mutual desire for development. He added that Azerbaijan’s economy is among the fastest growing in the region, and investing in Azerbaijan is an investment in a stable and transparent future.
Chairman of Al-Sadat Group, Syed Sadat Hussain Shah, stated that there are golden opportunities in real estate and trade for investors from both countries, and that the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Azerbaijan will now evolve into a strong economic partnership.
Coordinator Pakistan-Azerbaijan Investment, Babak Hussain Li, said that this conference will prove to be a milestone in strengthening ties between the two brotherly nations, adding that Azerbaijan is a safe and profitable destination for Pakistani investors.
