WNAM MONITORING: Kassym-Jomart Tokayev has congratulated his Azerbaijani counterpart Ilham Aliyev on his landslide victory in the extraordinary presidential election in a telephone conversation.
The Head of State noted that the outcomes of the presidential election is a vivid evidence that Ilham Aliyev’s strategic course and large-scale reforms aimed at further strengthening of statehood, socioeconomic prosperity and enhancing the country’s prestige in the international arena enjoy nationwide support.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev wished the President of Azerbaijan success in implementation of all plans ahead for the sake of prosperity and progress of the people of Azerbaijan.
The Azerbaijani leader, in turn, expressed gratitude for the words of congratulation and reiterated he is firmly committed to deepening of cooperation with fraternal Kazakhstan in the spirit of centuries-old friendship, strategic partnership and alliance.
