KARACHI ( WNAM REPORT): Pakistan Navy Investiture Ceremony 2026 was held at Bahria Auditorium, Karachi. Admiral Naveed Ashraf, Chief of the Naval Staff, graced the occasion as Chief Guest and conferred various military awards on Naval personnel in recognition of their services in the line of duty.
The recipients of Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military) are Cdre Syed Sajid Raza Rizvi, Cdre Nasir Mahmood, Cdre Jawad Riaz, Cdre Muhammad Akram, Cdre Shafiq-ur-Rehman, Cdre Imran Khalid Shafi, Cdre Bilal Ahmed Sana, Cdre Dr. Syed Sajjad Haider Zaidi, Cdre Muhammad Mehtab Khan, Cdre Taimur Niaz Khan, Cdre Haider Salman, Cdre Syed Ailya Hasan, Cdre Muhammad Imran Nosher, Cdre Fareed Amin, Cdre Kamran Christy Munir, Cdre Yasir Ikram, Cdre Madasar Khurshid and Cdre Omar Farooq.
The recipients of Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) are Cdr Muhammad Imran Akbar PN, Cdr Shoaib Ishaq PN, Cdr Muhammad Sohail Aslam PN, Cdr Muzammel Hussain PN, Cdr Kaleem Ullah PN, Lt Cdr Majid Khan PN, Lt Cdr Muqsit Mahmood Khan PN, Lt Cdr Khaliq-ur-Rehman PN, Lt Cdr Khurram Riaz PN, Lt Cdr Muhammad Majid Adeel PN and Lt Cdr Nazeer Ahmed PN.
33 Awards of Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military)-I, 82 awards of Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military)-II and 69 awards of Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military)-III were also conferred upon CPOs and Sailors of Pakistan Navy. Moreover, Letters of Commendation from Chief of the Naval Staff were awarded to 51 Officers, CPOs/Sailors and Navy Civilians.
The ceremony was attended by a large number of senior serving and retired officers of Armed Forces and families of the awardees.
