WNAM REPORT: President of Anjuman Tajran G-13 and G-14 Markaz, Riaz Khan, has said that the implementation of smart lockdowns in the markets of the federal capital should be avoided even after June 1. He stated that market closures not only disrupt business activities but also negatively impact the national economy. He urged the government and district administration to make business-friendly decisions through consultation with the trader community.
He further said that the trader community has always fully complied with government SOPs in the past and will continue to act responsibly in the future as well. Therefore, instead of imposing complete or partial smart lockdowns, precautionary measures should be promoted. He added that further disruptions to business activities would increase the difficulties faced by small traders and daily wage earners.
