WNAM REPORT: Fidan, who discussed current issues in telephone conversations with his counterparts, held a telephone conversation with Saudi Arabian Foreign Minister Faisal bin Farhan on July 31.
The meeting addressed “the latest situation in the region” and “efforts to end the ongoing conflicts.”
Fidan, who met with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi on August 1, stated that they evaluated the latest situation in the ongoing negotiation process with his Iranian counterpart.
Fidan stated, “Türkiye will continue to strive for an end to conflicts in our region and the establishment of lasting peace.”
Fidan, who met with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmed Al-Sabah on August 3, discussed the latest situation in the region with his Kuwaiti counterpart.
On the same day, Fidan spoke on the phone with Zülfikar Zeynula, the leader of the Turkish Democratic Party of North Macedonia, congratulating him on his appointment as Minister of State and wishing him success in his new role.
On the same date, Minister Fidan met with the new British Foreign Minister, Ed Miliband.
Fidan congratulated his British counterpart on his new position and discussed with Miliband the situation in the Middle East, particularly in Gaza, developments in the Russia-Ukraine war, and efforts to end the ongoing conflicts in the region.
Fidan also held face-to-face meetings with many high-ranking officials.
