The 19th International Exhibition “Agriculture – AgroWorld Uzbekistan – 2024” has kicked off at the Uzexpocentre in Tashkent on Wednesday.
135 companies from 21 countries, including Uzbekistan, Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, and Georgia, are presenting their products at the traditional exhibition organized by Iteca Exhibitions and its partner ICA Eurasia Group.
Ninety percent of the exhibitors are foreign businesspeople. Türkiye’s TANIS Milling Technologies is also demonstrating its products. Alisher Ernazarov, representative of the company’s office in Uzbekistan, noted that participation in this traditional exhibition is an excellent opportunity to find partners.
“The company I represent started its activities in Türkiye in 1953 and has already built its factories in 48 countries. In six years, the company has established about 10 factories in Uzbekistan. They mainly produce flour. The products are sent to the domestic and foreign markets. In addition, the company is building wheat and seed processing plants. We are the main participant of the exhibition, and this gives us great opportunities”, Mr. Ernazarov said.
The national stand at the exhibition also does not leave the participants indifferent. Local producers presented necessary products in the field, such as fertilizers, poultry feed, drip irrigation pipes, greenhouses, oil and gas equipment, etc.
