Just look at the names of office holders of every political party worth its salt operating in the country and you will find all the key positions inside the party set up occupied by next of kin of the party chiefs :they are either son, daughter or brother of the head of the political party Of course JI is the only exception. The party chiefs have maneuvered the intra party elections in such a way that the next in command is their blood relation in order to ensure that when their time is up or they are removed from the leadership of the party it still remains in their family as if the party is their fiefdom The question is what then is the difference between the so called parliamentary democracy and monarchy In monarchy the king appoints his son or daughter as his heir apparent who takes over? the command of the country when the king joins the great majority.
Now when the dust is settling down after the completion of general election in the country the silent majority expects that politicians on both sides of the political divide will join heads and make such a legislation by which dynastic politics is shown the door .Unless that is done we cannot claim that we are running this country under true democratic norms .
