Tashkent: President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev had a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
During the conversation, the leaders discussed the prospects for further development of multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia, as well as strengthening strategic partnership and alliance.
They also discussed the implementation of previously reached agreements concluded at the highest levels, and also discussed plans and upcoming events of a bilateral nature.
Particular attention was paid to the issues of increasing trade turnover, implementing joint projects of leading enterprises and developing cultural and humanitarian exchange programs, including intensifying contacts between the regions of the two countries.
