WNAM MONITORING: The OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) will send an observer mission to the early parliamentary elections, which will be held on September 1 in Azerbaijan.
They had previously received an official invitation from Azerbaijan to take part as observers in the elections.
“We have indeed received an invitation to observe the 2024 early parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan. We are planning to send an election observation mission, and the number of observers is likely to be similar to the mission ODIHR deployed to the presidential election in February. However, it’s still too early to have any information on the exact details,” reads the statement.
