WNAM MONITORING: At the invitation of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov will pay a state visit to Uzbekistan on July 18-19.
In accordance with the stay program, negotiations are envisaged at the highest level, during which issues of further deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan will be discussed.
Particular attention will be paid to increasing the volume of mutual trade, strengthening cooperation at the business and regional levels, promoting joint projects in priority economic sectors, using opportunities in the transport and transit sector, and intensifying cultural and humanitarian exchange.
The heads of state will also exchange views on current international and regional politics and discuss interaction issues within multilateral structures.
It is planned to launch several joint projects and sign a package of bilateral documents.
It should be noted that a business forum, a forum of rectors, Kyrgyzstan Culture Days, and other joint events are being held in Uzbekistan these days.
