World has never seen the like of Alexander, the great, who had occupied a vast chunk of this world.
After his conquest of India he was on his way back to his home located in Greece when malaria struck him. In those days it was incurable. He realized that it won’t be possible for him to make it to his home and he might die in the way so he gave some directions to his Generals who were accompanying him. He told them that his coffin being carried on horse back should be placed in such a manner that his both hands are visible and that doctors should accompany his funeral procession . When his Generals asked him about the logic behind those directions he replied that he wants his naked hands visible to his countrymen that he was going empty handed from this world and why he wants doctors to be part of his funeral procession so that his countrymen may understand that even doctors couldn’t stop him dying. Indeed truer words were never spoken.
