WNAM REPORT: A regular meeting of the Central Election Commission took place.
Issues such as organizing early voting, additional measures to ensure the electoral rights of persons with disabilities, and accreditation of observers from foreign countries were considered.In accordance with the legislation, voters who cannot stay at their place of residence on election day have the right to vote early.
The resolution of the Central Election Commission on organizing early voting on October 16-23 was adopted at the meeting. Early voting will be held from 9:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and from 11:00 to 17:00 on weekends.
The participation of international observers and media representatives is essential in ensuring the openness and transparency of elections and compliance with international norms and requirements.
By the decision of the Central Election Commission, 19 representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic States, two representatives each from the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, the Interparliamentary Assembly of the CIS, Russia, and China, three from the United States, and one representative each from the UK, Latvia, Lithuania, France, India, and Japan, as well as 12 representatives of local media, were accredited.
