WNAM REPORT: From November 14 to 16, the capital of Turkmenistan will host the XVII International Exhibition and Scientific Conference on Telecommunications, Telemetry, Information Technology and Broadcasting Equipment “Turkmentel-2024”. This large-scale event will bring together leading experts, representatives of governments, businesses and international organizations from around the world. The opening ceremony will be attended by high-ranking guests, including representatives of the government of Turkmenistan, embassies of foreign states and international organizations.
The conference program includes a number of interesting and relevant sessions. The first session, “Digital Transformation: Promoting International Dialogue and Cooperation,” will feature the Secretary-General of the International Telecommunication Union, the UNDP Resident Representative in Turkmenistan, and representatives of leading ICT companies such as Huawei, Nokia, and others. The second session will be devoted to “Innovations in Digital Technologies and Cybersecurity Solutions” – experts will discuss current issues of data protection, the development of smart cities, and cloud technologies.
Participants in the session “The Next Frontier in Communications” will consider the prospects for the development of network technologies, 5G and the Internet of Things. At the session “Satellite Technologies, Applications and Services: Supporting a Sustainable Economy”, the key topics will be the use of satellite communications for the development of regions and industries. The final session will be devoted to “Creating Ethical, Inclusive Digital Societies: Strategies for Sustainable Digitalization”, where experts will discuss issues of increasing the availability of digital services and technologies.
In addition, the conference will include a Universal Postal Union seminar dedicated to the digital transformation of the postal industry.
In addition, there will be a ceremony to announce the winners of the Digital Solution 2024 innovation projects competition, as well as awarding valuable prizes and presenting diplomas.
