WNAM REPORT: Samarkand hosted the First Meeting of the Joint Commission of Uzbekistan and Türkiye on Culture.
The event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture of Uzbekistan Murodjon Majidov and ministry officials, as well as members of the delegation led by the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of Türkiye Batuhan Mumcu.
Issues of expanding partnership in cinema, theater, circus and applied arts, museology, interaction for integration into the advanced technologies, including artificial intelligence, as well as cooperation and exchange of experience within international organizations were comprehensively discussed at the meeting.
Following the meeting, a declaration was signed.
The parties agreed to hold the Second Meeting of the Joint Commission in 2025 in Türkiye.
