Tashkent ( WNAM REPORT): A roundtable dedicated to the prospects for developing active and sports tourism in Uzbekistan was held at the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies. The event was organized by the Tourism Committee and the Research Institute for Tourism Development.
The discussion was opened by Sardor Niyazov, Deputy Chairman of the Tourism Committee, Elena Golysheva, Director of the Research Institute for Tourism Development, and Durbek Saifullaev, Vice Rector of the Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies.
Experts, scholars, and students shared their views on the current state, challenges, and opportunities in the development of active and sports tourism in Uzbekistan. Participants explored ways to improve the industry, identified priority tasks, and discussed prospects for enhancing cooperation in this sector.
