Baku: The traditional Diplomacy Week project, co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan and ADA University for diplomacy volunteers, marking the 100th anniversary of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev wrapped up in Baku.
The participants of the diplomacy week visited the Alley of Honors and the Alley of Martyrs to pay tribute to memory of Great Leader Heydar Aliyev and the martyrs who gave their lives for the country’s territorial integrity and independence.
Then, the opening ceremony of the project was held with the participation of Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and Rector of ADA University Hafiz Pashayev.
During the five-day event, the participants met with former Chief of the Secretariat of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Dilara Seyidzade, Chairman of the Defense, Security and Anti-Corruption Committee in the Milli Majlis Ziyafat Asgarov, former Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hasan Hasanov, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Fariz Rzayev, Head of the Press Service Department of Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Aykhan Hajizada.
The closing ceremony featured remarks by Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev, Head of the Press Service Department of Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry Aykhan Hajizada and Head of the human resources department Raman Mammadov.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of certificates to the participants of the Diplomacy Week project.
