WNAM MONITORING: The National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, arrived in Uzbekistan on Wednesday for an official visit, according to the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.
At the Samarkand International Airport, adorned with the national flags of Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was welcomed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
The visit agenda includes a high-level bilateral meeting and participation in cultural events. Central topics of the talks will focus on strengthening the strategic partnership, enhancing good-neighborly relations, and expanding cooperation between the two countries.
From April 21 to 23, the National Leader of the Turkmen people and Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan also visited Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan.
