Legendary Cricket Umpire popularly known as Dicky Bird breathed his last the other day at the ripe age of 92. He stood as Umpire in 66 Test Matches and 69 One Dayers.
Unlike many Cricket Umpires of today no finger was ever raised on his any decision which was eloquent of his impeccable honesty. He was an English man belonging to Yorkshire , England. The forum of international cricket umpires would certainly be the poorer after his demise.
