Chairperson BISP holds live e-Kachery

Directions officials to ensure immediate resolution of all complaints

by WNAM:

ISLAMBAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Chairperson Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Senator Rubina Khalid, conducted a Live E-Kacheri session through the official BISP Facebook account. The session, which lasted for over an hour, provided a platform for 32 callers from across the country to directly share their concerns with the Chairperson.
During the session, a beneficiary family from Muzaffargarh reported that their issue had remained unresolved for several months without any serious action from the concerned authorities. Taking strict notice of the matter, Senator Rubina Khalid directed the responsible officer to personally visit the family in Muzaffargarh, meet them face-to-face, and ensure that their problem is resolved on the spot. The Chairperson made it clear that neglecting the complaints of deserving families will not be tolerated, and it is the foremost duty of BISP officials to provide timely redressal of grievances.
Highlighting the purpose of E-Kacheri, Senator Rubina Khalid stated that the platform is designed to directly hear the voice of the people and to ensure immediate action. She cautioned officials that any negligence in this regard would result in strict disciplinary action.
In her message, the Chairperson reminded beneficiaries that only messages received from 8171 are genuine and reliable, while all other messages are fake. She reiterated that BISP surveys and registrations are completely free, and any demand for fees or forms is fraudulent. She advised that during the survey process, beneficiaries must keep their CNIC, children’s B-Forms, electricity bill, and children’s vaccination record with them.
She further instructed that only the mobile number in personal use should be registered, and any change in the number must be immediately reported to BISP. Once a survey is completed, it cannot be repeated for at least two years. Senator Rubina Khalid also emphasized that beneficiaries should always count their money in full at the time of receipt, and in case of any deduction or complaint, they should call the BISP helpline at 080026477 or visit the nearest BISP office.
Concluding the session, Senator Rubina Khalid issued strict directions to officials to ensure immediate resolution of all complaints, including the Muzaffargarh case, and to report back to her directly. She reaffirmed that BISP is working for the welfare of the people and that negligence at any level will not be tolerated.
