ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): Vice President and Spokesperson of the Federation of Realtors Pakistan, Rana Akram, has said that unjustified taxes have significantly slowed down construction projects. Frequent changes in policies and regulatory complications have not only halted the pace of investment but have also paralyzed construction activities.

He stated that the policies of the past few years have created an atmosphere of uncertainty in the market, resulting in a noticeable decline in buying and selling. “We demand that the tax burden be reduced, an investor-friendly policy framework be introduced, and immediate reforms be undertaken by recognizing the real estate sector as a key driver of economic growth. This is essential to revive the stagnant market and support the national economy,” he added.
