RIYADH ( WNAM MONITORING ): Saudi aid agency King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center continues to make children a central focus of its humanitarian, relief, and development programs.
Since its establishment, the center has implemented 1,103 child-focused projects across multiple sectors — at a total cost exceeding $1.25 billion — aimed at improving the lives of children and ensuring they have access to education and care within safe and healthy environments.
KSrelief has also contributed more than $500 million to protect 370 million children annually from polio, in what is one of the world’s largest humanitarian initiatives in this field.
The world marks Universal Children’s Day on Nov. 20 each year, a day that reflects the international community’s commitment to its responsibilities toward children and underscores the belief that building a prosperous future begins with ensuring children’s rights to education, health, and protection from violence and neglect.
