ISLAMABAD ( WNAM REPORT ): The 7th annual Global Ambassador Awards ceremony was held in Islamabad, recognizing the outstanding contributions of heads of diplomatic missions, international organizations, and business community representatives. The event was organized by The Diplomatic Insight magazine in collaboration with the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies.
The highlight of the event was the introduction of the special category “Ambassador of the Year” award, which was bestowed upon H.E. Yerzhan Kistafin, Ambassador of Kazakhstan to Pakistan. The award recognized his exceptional efforts in strengthening Kazakhstan-Pakistan cooperation.
The ceremony was attended by prominent dignitaries, including Murtaza Solangi, Spokesperson to the President of Pakistan, and Huzaifa Rehman, Minister of State for National Heritage and Culture and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister.
Ambassador Kistafin was selected for the award based on comprehensive surveys conducted among Pakistan’s political, official, diplomatic, business, and academic circles. He expressed gratitude to the Diplomatic Insight Group and the Institute of Peace and Diplomatic Studies for recognizing the Embassy’s work.
This is not the first time Ambassador Kistafin has received this honor, as he was previously awarded the Global Ambassador Award in 2022, a testament to his dedication to promoting Kazakhstan-Pakistan relations.
