ISLAMABAD ( WNAM  REPORT ): The Faculty of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Allama Iqbal Open University, organized a seminar on National Unity and Collective Responsibility in the context of Maarka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos.

Renowned poet and critic Jalil Aali graced the event as chief guest, while Prof. Dr. Shah Mohiuddin Hashmi, Dean, Faculty of Arabic and Islamic Studies, presided over the seminar.

Addressing the participants, Jalil Aali said that our armed forces gave a befitting response to the enemy’s aggression last year during Maarka-e-Haq and Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos. He noted that during this time, the Pakistani nation rose above internal differences and demonstrated a practical example of national solidarity. “Today, the entire Islamic world looks at us with respect, and our prestige has increased globally,” he added.

He emphasized that now is the time to recognize our collective responsibilities and move forward as a united and courageous nation, setting aside all differences.

In his concluding remarks, Dr. Shah Mohiuddin Hashmi termed the guest speaker’s address as thought-provoking. He said Islamic civilization is a powerful force whose legacy endures even after centuries. “Allah has promised His help for Muslims in the Quran. We witnessed His divine help during _Operation Bunyan-ul-Marsoos,” he stated. He further expressed hope that the time is not far when the Islamic nation, especially Pakistan, will rise again.
