WNAM REPORT: President for Interfaith Peace and Development Tourism and President of Lake Shore Club, Syed Sadat Hussain Shah, in his message on the occasion of 10th Muharram-ul-Haram, said that the Day of Karbala is a great symbol of truth, justice, patience, steadfastness, and standing firm against oppression.
He said that Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA) and his companions sacrificed their lives in the plains of Karbala, teaching humanity that every sacrifice can be made for the sake of truth rather than bowing before falsehood. The great sacrifice of Imam Hussain (RA) remains an eternal symbol of resistance against tyranny and oppression, and the entire Muslim Ummah remembers his sacrifice with deep reverence and respect.
He prayed that Almighty Allah bless Pakistan with peace, stability, and prosperity and grant us the ability to follow the great lessons of Karbala.
Sadat Shah said that the tragedy of Karbala is a shining chapter in Islamic history that will continue to inspire humanity with courage, determination, and truthfulness until the Day of Judgment. He added that the martyrdom of Imam Hussain (RA) teaches us to strive for unity, brotherhood, tolerance, and the establishment of justice and fairness in society.
