RAWALPINDI ( WNAM REPORT ): A delegation of the Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI), led by Acting President Khalid Farooq Qazi, called on MPA Raja Muhammad Hanif to discuss matters of mutual interest and strengthen cooperation in addressing key issues facing the business community, particularly provincial taxes, the early completion of underpasses, and other ongoing development projects.
The RCCI delegation included former Presidents Dr. Hassan Sarosh Akram, Syed Asad Mashadi, Raja Amer Iqbal, and Saqib Rafiq, along with Chamber members Ikram Abbasi, Haji Mumtaz, and Haji Masood.
During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of close coordination between the public and private sectors to create a business-friendly environment, accelerate economic growth, and effectively resolve the concerns of traders and industrialists. MPA Raja Muhammad Hanif assured the delegation of his full support and reaffirmed his commitment to taking up these matters with the relevant authorities for timely resolution.
The RCCI delegation appreciated the MPA’s willingness to engage with the business community and expressed confidence that continued collaboration would help promote trade, investment, and infrastructure development in the region.
