KARACHI ( WNAM REPORT ): Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturer’s Association (PVMA) in its 350th Executive Committee meeting held here on Tuesday in Karachi, unanimously elected Faad Waheed, a Islamabad based leading industrialist/businessman, as Senior Vice Chairman of the Pakistan Vanaspati Manufacturers Association (PVMA).
Earlier he has held the prestigious post of Senior Vice President of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry (ICCI) 2022-2024, Independent Director of the National Productivity Organization (NPO), Government of Pakistan, and currently working as Director Operations & Public Relations at Waheed Group of Companies (WGC).
In his maiden speech Mr. Faad Waheed re-iterated the importance of industrial sector in job creation and provision of vegetable Ghee/Cooking oil (a staple food item) to masses at affordable price without any interruption.
He also spelled out his plans and seek assistance from leading players and in turn was awarded full support from the house.
Talking to the media after assuming charge, Mr. Faad Waheed expressed his sincere gratitude to the honorable senior members of PVMA for their trust and confidence in his leadership. He expressed his commitment to serving the industry and addressing the challenges faced by the Ghee and Cooking Oil Sector of Pakistan.
With his vast experience, leadership capabilities, and deep understanding of industry affairs, he pledged to utilize his expertise for the welfare and sustainable growth of the industry he further added.
