(WNAM Report): Depicting the continuous emergence of fresh voices on the musical scene, Spotify revealed that Aashir Wajahat, the multitalented singer and composer as well as the Fresh Finds Pakistan artist for February, achieved a significant milestone with his latest track ‘Sadqay,’ claiming the coveted #1 position on Spotify Pakistan’s Weekly Charts.

Released on 1st February 2024, ‘Sadqay’ has been a consistent performer, garnering immense love from global audiences, propelling the track to the top spot on the Spotify Pakistan’s Weekly Charts. Since its release, ‘Sadqay’ has been in the spotlight, getting immense attention leading to the song being featured on several editorial playlists, including Spotify’s Fresh Finds Pakistan, Pakka Hit Hai, Latest Love Tunes, Desi Hits and over 12 editorial playlists. The song’s inclusion in these playlists has led to a phenomenal growth of over 4000% in Aashir’s listenership.

To further amplify the reach of ‘Sadqay’, Spotify is excited to include the track in its Desi Pop playlist, providing an even broader audience with the opportunity to experience the infectious melodies and captivating vocals from Aashir. “Thank you for the immense love you all have given to Sadqay,” noted Aashir, expressing heartfelt gratitude towards the support his track has received from fans. “We shared a piece of our heart with everyone and couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. The global streaming numbers for ‘Sadqay’ tell another remarkable story of success, with daily streams skyrocketing from 18,500 to nearly 400,000 in the past week. The track has already surpassed 4.4 million streams, and its popularity continues to surge. Aashir’s impressive performance goes beyond the local charts. Not only has ‘Sadqay’ topped the Spotify Pakistan charts in its first week, it has also made waves globally, being added to over 100,000 playlists and reaching over 1 million listeners worldwide, demonstrating its universal appeal.
