Isn’t it about time that all elections in future should be conducted through electronic voting machine Like the eye of camera it doesn’t tell lies.
It isn’t difficult to understand as to why some politicians oppose its introduction in the elections. It seems they know in their heart of hearts that it won’t be possible for them to rig the polls if elections were conducted through this machine. Had it been introduced in the recently held elections there would have been no rumpus which the nation is experiencing on the political scene of the country ,after the said elections.
This machine needs to be given a fair trial in all the bye elections of the country likely to be held till the next general elections for getting to know how does it work. The EC should study its performance and working in the countries where it has been introduced and then brief the political leaders of this country about its pros and cons. If some defects have been noticed in its operation anywhere the EC must apprise itself how those defects were removed Since sufficent time is available to the EC before next general elections kinks and knots ,if any in its use can be ironed out.
