WNAM MONITORING: Numerous publications dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the classical poet Magtymguly Fragi have been supplemented with several new books that will attract the attention of specialists and all admirers of the work of the outstanding son of the Turkmen people and philosopher of the East.
The collection of articles entitled «The Great Magtymguly and the Life of the Turkmen» describes the historical epoch in which Magtymguly Fragi lived and worked, reveals the influence of his wise poetry and humanistic views on the moral values and spiritual world of the Turkmen people.
Another collection, «Magtymguly – a source of inspiration», contains scientific articles related to a comprehensive study of the multifaceted creative heritage of the great poet and philosopher of the East. They are united by a common leitmotif about the universal human value of the poetry of the Turkmen classic, its humanistic philosophy and artistic perfection.
Gurbandurdy Geldiyev’s monograph «Names of places and countries in the works of Magtymguly and their poetics» is devoted to the interpretation of the meaning of the names of places and countries found in the works of Magtymguly, and the disclosure of their artistic value through poetics.
The book of the famous scientist Ahmet Mammedov «Magtymguly in the literature of the Turkic peoples» summarizes the results of his many years of research into the work of Magtymguly Fragi and the influence of his poetry on the culture of the Turkic peoples. It contains information about the study of the immortal works of the Turkmen classical poet by Turkic-speaking scientists and writers, about various editions of Magtymguly’s poetry collections in Turkic languages.
