WNAM MONITORING: The new online talent show Müňden biri (“One in a Thousand”) is rapidly gaining popularity in Turkmenistan. The first four episodes of the program in total received more than one million views on just one of the online platforms and continue to attract the attention of more and more new viewers.
The presenters are positioning the show as a platform where young performers and musicians from all over Turkmenistan aged 7 to 17 can express themselves and get tickets to the big stage.
Well-known cultural figures in the country act as a jury evaluating young talents. They decide whether each contestant advances to the next round of the show, where finalists will receive support from producers and mentors to develop their music careers.
The talented guys who performed successfully on the show have already received a lot of positive feedback in the comments under the videos. For example, the young singer Davut Azadov, who in the fourth episode, without prior preparation, amazed the jury with a brilliant performance of one of the songs of the Russian pop singer Vitas (Vitaly Grachev).
The creator of the program is the well-known showman in Turkmenistan, Yagshi Goshunov, whose production group conducts the casting and recruitment of participants for the show.
