The address to the joint session of Parliament by the President the other day was very balanced. He underscored the need on the part of all political stake holders to sink their differences and make a concerted effort to solve the grave problems confronting the country.
It was a pity that some of the opposition members raised a pandemonium during his speech. Thanks God they didn’t grapple with one another as at one time it appeared that they might use fisticuffs against one another.
