The Asian Youth Athletics Championships are taking place in Dubai, UAE. Members of the Uzbekistan national team had a successful start, winning two gold and one bronze medal on the first day.
Barnokhon Sayfullayeva took first place in the high jump with a score of 1.83 meters. Emilia Rudina, who participated in the same program, won a bronze medal. Khushnoz Shavkatova, who performed in the triple jump program, won the gold medal.
