WNAM MONITORING: Upon arrival in Tashkent, the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Suk Yeol visited the New Uzbekistan Park.
The Leader of the Republic of Korea laid flowers at the Independence Monument.
During a brief tour of the complex, the South Korean delegation members were informed about the content and images embodied in the monument and the historical events.
More than three thousand years – that’s how deep the roots of the history of national statehood are on the territory of our Motherland. Any person contemplating the monument will witness the artistic embodiment of this glorious past.
It has become a good tradition for high-ranking guests and official foreign delegations to lay wreaths at this monument during a visit to Uzbekistan.
The attention of the delegation members was drawn to the images of great scientists and thinkers, courageous commanders and brave conquerors, our Jadid ancestors, captured on the walls of the complex. It was noted that the image of the Khumo bird – a symbol of peace, freedom and goodness – successfully crowns this majestic monument.
