WNAM MONITORING: delegation consisting of specialists from Uzbekneftegaz JSC visited the Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company owned by CNPC of China.
During the visit, several meetings were held to improve relations between the parties and discuss ongoing joint projects in the mining sector.
At the same time, the delegation members visited the Central Dispatch Service, the Drilling Control Center, and the Scientific Research Institute of the Southwest Oil and Gas Field Company, where they became familiar with the innovations implemented to increase natural gas production.
Several issues related to intensifying work carried out jointly with foreign partners in Uzbekistan were discussed at the meeting. An agreement was also reached on using a special pumping unit as an experiment to ensure the stable operation of wells with a high level of flooding and improve environmental improvements during the implementation of technological processes in Uzbekneftegaz JSC.
During the President of Uzbekistan’s visit to China in January this year, the Uzbekneftegaz delegation held negotiations on mining and field development projects with CNODS, which belongs to CNPC Corporation, a giant of the Chinese energy industry.
