WNAM REPORT: The Kyrgyzstan national team participated in the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris, France.
The delegation of the national team traveled by boat on the Seine River during the parade of athletes.
The flag bearers were judoka Erlan Sherov and swimmer Elizaveta Pecherskih. Team captain Akzhol Makhmudov will arrive in Paris in August for his competitions.
President Sadyr Japarov attended the opening ceremony of the Games.
Sixteen athletes represent Kyrgyzstan at the Olympics.
