WNAM REPORT: President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov will visit Moscow on July 2 on a working visit.
“A bilateral meeting between President Sadyr Japarov and Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected,” the administration said in a statement.
During the meeting, the parties plan to discuss current issues of Kyrgyz-Russian cooperation, including trade, economic, cultural, humanitarian and investment spheres.
Japarov’s previous visit to Russia took place on May 9 at Putin’s invitation to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. At that time, the Russian president held talks with foreign leaders, which his press secretary Dmitry Peskov described as “very good.”
In addition to Japarov, the celebrations on May 9 were attended by Chinese President Xi Jinping, Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon, Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, and Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico.
