ISLAMABAD (WNAM REPORT): Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Pakistan, Avazbek Atakhanov, visited the Pakistan Academy of Letters (PAL) on Thursday, where he met with Chairperson Dr. Najeeba Arif.
The meeting focused on strengthening literary, cultural, and historical ties between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan. This exchange highlights the efforts to foster greater cultural understanding and cooperation between the two nations.
They emphasized the importance of mutual translations of literary works, recognizing that such exchanges would enable the people of both nations to better understand each other’s literature and cultural heritage.
The ambassador also visited the Academy’s Hall, and the Literary Museum of Pakistani Languages, expressing great interest in the exhibits.
Speaking on the occasion, Ambassador Atakhanov praised the Literary Museum of Pakistani Languages for its efforts in preserving Pakistan’s linguistic and cultural heritage.
He expressed his admiration for the museum’s initiative and even suggested that a similar museum should be established in Kyrgyzstan to celebrate its own linguistic diversity.
Dr. Najeeba Arif presented the ambassador with a collection of publications from the PAL as a token of goodwill.
