WEB DESK: A training workshop on “Effective Reforms – Sustainable Results” has begun at the Center for Pedagogical Excellence of Samarkand Region, held jointly with Marshall Cavendish Education of Singapore.
180 directors and teachers of exact and natural sciences of secondary comprehensive schools in the region are improving their qualifications based on international programs.“As part of the implementation of measures by the Ministry of Preschool and School Education aimed at the professional development of teachers of comprehensive schools in accordance with international experience and improving students’ knowledge of exact and natural sciences, 25 trainers from our region took part in a training workshop based on the Singapore experience in the city of Tashkent”, says the head of the Preschool and School Education Department of Samarkand Region, Sh. Eshonkulov. “Now, they are passing on the experience they have gained to regional directors and teachers. The main goal is to take the quality of education in schools to a new level, improve the qualifications of teachers working in natural sciences, improve the management system on the part of school principals, assess students’ knowledge of natural and mathematical sciences based on international experience through a digital educational platform based on artificial intelligence”.
Masterclasses were held on such topics as “The Structure of Modern Education”, “Strengths of the Singapore Education System”, and “Promising Curriculum”.
Such workshops will continue on August 19-24 in 16 primary schools in districts and cities using the cascade method. 3,816 teachers will undergo training.
