WEB DESK: From August 10, a visa-free regime will be introduced between Tajikistan and Iran for holders of general civil foreign passports, as per reports.
In particular, the message says:
“From August 10, 2024, the Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Islamic Republic of Iran on the abolition of visas for holders of general foreign passports will come into force”.
Holders of general foreign passports of the two countries have the right to visit the territory of the parties without a visa for a period of 30 days within 90 days from the date of first entry.
At the first stage, this visa-free system will be implemented only for passengers of Dushanbe-Tehran and Tehran-Dushanbe flights, the source notes.
