‘Pakistan’s youth to join Ethiopia’s 600 million tree campaign’

ISLSMSBSD( WNAM REPORT):  : H.E. Jemal Beker Abdula, Special Envoy & Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, virtually addressed the COP-in-my-City 2024 Conference and briefed the youth about the Green Legacy Initiative of Prime Minister of Ethiopia H.E. Dr. Abiy Ahmed Ali.
Addressing the conference, the Ambassador informed the youth that the people of Ethiopia under the leadership of H.E. PM Dr. Abiy Ahmed are going to set a world record by planting 600 million trees in a single day (tomorrow).
H.E. Ambassador Jemal Beker said the Green Legacy Initiative, inspired by Medemer philosophy of H.E. Dr. Abiy Ahmed, which stressed on synergizing human and financial resources for robust, green and sustainable development in the country.
He said the Green Legacy Initiative has not only enhanced the green cover, but also ensured food security and increased the job creation in the FDR Ethiopia.
The youth of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan lauded the Green Legacy initiative and vowed to participate in tomorrow’s 600 million tree plantation campaign.
