WNAM REPORT: On behalf of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D. Gulmanova accepted credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Mauritius to Turkmenistan, Heswar Janke, reports the State News Agency of Turkmenistan.
The head of the national Parliament congratulated the ambassador on his appointment to a high diplomatic post and wished him success in developing friendly relations. In response, the diplomat conveyed warm greetings from the President of the Republic of Mauritius and wishes for good health and prosperity to the people of Turkmenistan.
The ambassador noted that it was a great honor for him to represent his country in Turkmenistan, which, thanks to its peace-loving course and positive initiatives, has gained high international authority. During the conversation, Heswar Janke was informed in detail about the domestic and foreign policies of Turkmenistan, as well as the activities of the Turkmen Parliament in the context of large-scale reforms.
At the end of the meeting, the ambassador assured that he would make every effort to develop friendly relations and fruitful interstate dialogue.
