WNAM REPORT: The Uzbekistan – Korean Tourism Forum was held as part of the roadshow events in Seoul.
The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Tourism Committee, Umid Shodiyev, and the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to South Korea, Alisher Abdusalomov.
According to the Tourism Committee, more than 100 representatives of the tourism sector of the two countries took part in the forum. The event’s main goal was to promote Uzbekistan’s rich tourism potential and cultural heritage and to establish cooperation between travel companies. Uzbekistan tour operators provided information about products and unique destinations and demonstrated the attractiveness of Uzbekistan for Korean tourists.
An essential part of the forum was B2B meetings.
Following the event, the participants got acquainted with Uzbek folklore and tasted national dishes.
