The presidents discussed current issues of relations between Uzbekistan and Tajikistan in the context of implementing agreements at the highest level.
The importance of continuing close interdepartmental interaction and active exchanges to increase trade turnover and promote cooperation projects in industry, energy, the agricultural sector, and other priority areas was noted.
The two countries’ leaders also exchanged views on the current situation in the region.
