WNAM REPORT: The 37th meeting of the CIS Advisory Council on Labor, Employment and Social Protection will be held in the capital of Turkmenistan on October 17-18. According to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Turkmenistan, the event will be held at the “Yyldyz” hotel.
Turkmenistan, a member of the Council since 1992, will host representatives of the Commonwealth countries to discuss important issues in the socio-economic sphere. The agenda includes expanding cooperation in the field of labor relations, employment and social protection of citizens of the CIS countries.
The participants of the meeting will hold talks and sign a number of documents aimed at deepening cooperation between the CIS member states in these areas. Particular attention will be paid to issues of strengthening cooperation with the sectoral economic bodies of the Commonwealth.
