WNAM REPORT: Chairman of the People’s Republic of China Xi Jinping sent a letter to the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, expressing heartfelt gratitude for the congratulatory message on the occasion of the 75th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.
In his letter, Xi Jinping noted the importance of bilateral relations between China and Turkmenistan, highlighting the fruitful meeting held last year at the Third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation, where important agreements on comprehensive cooperation were reached and new plans for developing bilateral relations were outlined.
Xi Jinping also expressed his willingness to continue joint efforts to advance cooperation in energy and other areas, as well as to build the China-Turkmenistan Community of Shared Future. In conclusion, he wished Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov good health and well-being, and Turkmenistan progress and prosperity.
