WNAM REPORT: Ashgabat will host key discussions on international transport corridors at the “International Transport Corridors: Connectivity and Development-2024” conference and exhibition, scheduled for November 26-27, 2024, at the Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (TCCI).
According to TCCI’s press release, the main goal of the conference is to explore the development of efficient transport and transit corridors and infrastructure, covering highways, rail stations, international sea ports, and airports. The agenda will focus on post-pandemic recovery in the transport and logistics sectors, digitalization of transport and communication infrastructure, environmental considerations for sustainable transport, the role of public-private partnerships in green infrastructure development, and the importance of science and education in this field.
Participants will include representatives from the Turkmenistan Agency of Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers, members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as equipment suppliers for automakers, logistics centers, insurance companies, seaports, airports, and railway administrations.
Exhibits and organized business meetings at the “Transport and Logistics” exhibition aim to raise awareness among potential partners of new investment opportunities and highlight avenues for long-term, mutually beneficial collaboration.
