WNAM MONITORING: President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Resolution on the modernization of the material and technical base of the State Concern “Türkmennebit”. As reported by TDH, the document is aimed at increasing the efficiency of the country’s oil and gas sector.
At a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, Deputy Prime Minister B. Amanov made a report on the planned measures. According to him, the concern will be equipped with modern specialized equipment for drilling, development and major repairs of oil and gas wells. The new equipment will improve the infrastructure of industry facilities and increase the efficiency of geological exploration at the fields.
The head of state, commenting on the presented project, emphasized the importance of continuous technical improvement of the oil and gas complex to increase hydrocarbon production. This area remains one of the priorities in the development of the economy of Turkmenistan.
After signing the document, the head of state instructed the Deputy Prime Minister to ensure strict control over the implementation of all provisions of the Resolution. The document was sent for execution via the digital system.
The modernization of the technical base of the Türkmennebit concern will be an important step in the development of the country’s oil and gas industry and will contribute to increasing the efficiency of hydrocarbon resource extraction.
