WNAM REPORT: The volume of mutual trade between Turkmenistan and Russia increased by 58% in the first 7 months of 2024 compared to the same period last year, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexey Overchuk reported.
According to him, the positive dynamics of trade turnover between the two countries continues, which indicates strengthening economic ties and mutually beneficial cooperation. Overchuk also emphasized that for further growth, a draft program of economic cooperation between the governments of Russia and Turkmenistan for 2025-2027 has been developed, which is in the final stage of approval.
On Wednesday in Asbaghat , Overchuk took part in a meeting of the co-chairs of the intergovernmental Turkmen-Russian commission on economic cooperation. The co-chair of the commission from the Turkmen side is Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov.
