WNAM REPORT: AZIREX-2024 tactical exercise with the participation of a group of personnel and ships of the Naval Forces of the Azerbaijan Army and Iranian Army will be held under to the protocol of the meeting of the joint commission on military and military-technical cooperation, signed between the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran, as per reports.
On November 2, personnel and warships of the Azerbaijan Army, participating in the exercise, arrived at the Anzali sea port.
Two ships and more than 100 personnel of the Azerbaijan’s Navy will participate in the “Search and rescue at sea” exercise to be held in the Iranian part of the Caspian Sea.
